Staff Vision Meeting

Mar 10, 2017

We began our meeting with prayer and Scriptural study to guide us in planning for 2017.As we have done in previous years, the Namikango staff take the first few weeks of the year to review the previous year as well as to set our vision and agenda for the coming year. This year the staff went out to Game Haven, a resort and game reserve, to get away from the normal scenery and distractions and to have a day focused on prayer, and Scriptural study. We also had a discussion around our core values in order to better prepare us for how God would lead us in our agenda-setting meeting for the year.

One discussion point was the identification of key character traits found in our core values (and in our text of Romans 12) that we want to grow in this year.

I think it is true to say that we came away from the meeting with a deeper sense of “who we are” so that we could better plan “what we are to do”.

Aside, from the discussions, the staff also enjoyed a buffet lunch as well as a game drive, seeing the lovely wildlife including giraffe, zebra, wildebeests, impala, kudu and others.

We’re grateful for the work we feel God is leading us into this year and are doubly grateful for your support and participation with us, on this journey with God.
